A shared dream is something someone has chosen to let you see. Treat that choice with care.
Choose what you share
Review your recap and its audience. A new guest-readable link lets anyone holding it read without an account. Approve that access deliberately; messaging services may retain its title and preview after you revoke it. Existing restricted links keep their account boundary. Leave out identifying or private information about other people unless you have their permission. Never post someone else’s journal or reading without consent.
Choose a respectful identity
A pseudonym is welcome. Do not impersonate another person, organisation or Dreamia staff. Some handles are reserved, and handles that violate these rules may be unavailable or removed. Automated checks are limited; you can report a misleading or abusive profile to hello@getdreamia.com.
Be kind in the conversation
No harassment, hate, threats, bullying, sexual exploitation, unsolicited sexual content, or spam. Dream content is not evidence of real events, another person’s intentions, or a medical diagnosis. Keep interpretations respectful and optional.
Know who can read your reply
Private replies are between the author and each recipient. An author can explicitly choose a group with two to four selected recipients, plus the author; everyone with access to that group can see its members and shared reply history. Check the audience before replying. Earlier private replies are not moved into a group. Adding members after publication requires a new share. Leaving or removal stops future access, but cannot recall copies other members already made.
Respect access
Do not circumvent blocked accounts or revoked links. Ask before copying or redistributing what someone shared with you. A selected-recipient invitation does not give you permission to share its contents elsewhere.
When something needs attention
Use Report dream from the shared dream, or Block dreamer to prevent further interaction. Reports are private. You can also contact hello@getdreamia.com about a concern or an appeal. We may remove shared content or restrict social participation.
Always optional
Joining Shared dreams to publish, reply or react is for adults 18 and over. Reading an explicitly guest-readable recap does not require joining or verify a reader’s age. You can turn it off from your sharing profile and continue using your private journal. Your date of birth is used for eligibility and is never displayed on that profile.
